If a base curve lens clock is not available to measure the front curve of the demo lenses in your frame, you also can use the image provided to gather closest matched curve. Place the right side of the frame down on the image that best matches the demo lens steepness and denote this information on your order.

To evaluate the minimum diameter for your finished product, mark the optical center on the lens in the chosen frame and place the marking on the center or + sign on the control sliding chart below. Decide the minimum size that clears all sides of the frame diameter and denote that measurement on the order.

Diameter Reduction, is recommended with hyperopic prescriptions. The overall result in lens thickness improves aesthetically when a smaller diameter lens can be provided by the laboratory.

Tint Color Scale

Categories 0, 1, and 2 can be requested 10% lighter or darker. When SLC / Pix-AR coating is applied to tinted lenses, the tint color may vary and be received in the lighter version of the color ordered. After tinting SLC / Pix-AR coated lenses, altering the tint is no longer possible. The tint color scale is for the standard index Lenses and may vary according to higher Index materials. Category 4 the color-tones are not recommended for glasses used while driving motored vehicles. Category 1,2,3 color-tones are not recommended for glasses used while driving a motored vehicle in the evening. Printed colors may differ from the actual colors of the glass.
